As we welcome 2025, let’s joyfully celebrate the remarkable achievements of the Qatar Air Sports Committee in 2024! It’s a great opportunity to recognize and appreciate our strides together!
- The Qatar Air Sports Committee (QASC) earned 42 medals—20 gold, 14 silver, and 8 bronze—at various local and international championships.
- Qatar hosted the first-ever Paramotor Slalom event, the 6th FAI World Paramotor Slalom Championships, in 2024.
- QASC set it’s 5th Guinness World Record for the fastest paramotor speed over a 50 km course.
- A museum showcasing air sports in Qatar opened in Lusail.
- QASC held a captivating exhibition during the 24th CISM World Military Equestrian Championships at Al Shaqab.
- The QASC Hot Air Balloon made its inaugural flight.
- The hosting certificate for the CISM 47th World Military Parachuting Championships in November 2025 was officially signed.
- The QASC Canopy Formation team performed a spectacular show at Katara Beach on December 18th, 2024, for Qatar National Day.
