As we welcome 2025, let’s joyfully celebrate the remarkable achievements of the Qatar Air Sports Committee in 2024! It’s a great opportunity to recognize and appreciate our strides together!
The Qatar Air Sports Committee (QASC) earned 42 medals—20 gold, 14 silver, and 8 bronze—at various local and international championships.
Qatar hosted the first-ever Paramotor Slalom event, the 6th FAI World Paramotor Slalom Championships, in 2024.
QASC set it’s 5th Guinness World Record for the fastest paramotor speed over a 50 km course.
A museum showcasing air sports in Qatar opened in Lusail.
QASC held a captivating exhibition during the 24th CISM World Military Equestrian Championships at Al Shaqab.
The QASC Hot Air Balloon made its inaugural flight.
The hosting certificate for the CISM 47th World Military Parachuting Championships in November 2025 was officially signed.
The QASC Canopy Formation team performed a spectacular show at Katara Beach on December 18th, 2024, for Qatar National Day.
