7 th FAI Rome General Assembly

Qatar Air Sports Committee at the 75th ISC General Assembly in Rome.

Rome, Italy The Qatar Air Sports Committee participated in the 75th General Assembly of the International Skydiving Commission (ISC) in Rome from January 28 to February 2, 2025.

The assembly covered significant topics such as annual reports, updates to competition rules, and upcoming championships. A central point of discussion is the World Military Parachuting Championship (WMPC) 2025, which will be held in Doha next November.

The delegation from Qatar includes Mr. Hazza Hamad Al-Attiyah, the General Secretary, and Dr. Omar Al-Khayyat, the technical expert. Their participation aims to enhance Qatar’s role in international skydiving and promote the advancement of the sport.

Additionally, during this meeting, Saudi Arabia was selected to host the 76th General Assembly in 2026.
